G'day, I'm Benni. I'm 14. And yeah, I built this whole thing.

Look, my previous business model was selling cans of Coke at school for a markup and flogging Pokemon cards that turned out to be worth absolutely nothing. Solid hustles, right? But someone wise once told me: "Mate, work smart, not harder." So instead of lugging around a backpack full of soft drinks and worthless holographic Pikachus, I decided to build an entire tech platform. You know, the logical next step. 🙄

It started with $300 (RIP my Coke and Pokemon card profits), the gaming PC I got for Christmas 2026, and my dad who knows how to code. The late nights figuring out why something broke? That's us – a father-son team fuelled by Red Bulls and stubbornness.

I got tired of seeing platforms that charge ridiculous fees and treat people like walking wallets. So I thought: "What if I just... built something that doesn't suck?" Spoiler alert: way harder than selling Coke. And definitely harder than convincing kids that a Rattata card was "super rare."

Turns out, building something that doesn't suck costs money. Who knew? My Year 8 business studies class definitely didn't prepare me for this. Should've kept those Coke cans. 😅

AI tools so the platform is actually smart? Not free.
Servers that don't crash when more than 5 people use it? Not free.
Development tools to build new features? Definitely not free.
Red Bulls to keep me going while I debug at 2am? Also not free.

That $300? It's gone. Faster than my Pokemon card "collection" lost its value. But the dream isn't.

Benni In The Middle is 100% free for everyone. No fees. No commission. No sneaky charges. And I want to keep it that way.

I've got big dreams though. I'm working on ways to bring in revenue down the track. Things like optional Pro+ Boost for providers who want extra visibility. But here's my promise: I'll never take a cut of what our pros earn. Your hard work is YOUR money. And I'll never charge fees that break the bank. That's not what I'm about. (Unlike my Coke markup strategy... sorry classmates.)

Right now though? I'm just trying to keep the lights on. If you believe in what I'm building, a platform by a real person for real people, consider throwing a few bucks my way. Even $5 helps more than you know. That's like... two cans of Coke profit. I know the value of $5.
